Digital Sales Representative at Securian Financial Group in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Salary range: $43,200-$54,000
This position is eligible for an annual target bonus of up to $40,000.

What you would do in this job

1. Sell solutions capabilities to new customers. Responsible for prospecting in the Financial and Healthcare vertical markets. Accountable for maintaining and expanding annual profitable sales to existing and new customers.

2. Maintain customer relations and customer satisfaction. Act as service representative to customers. Grow number of contacts with existing customers to assure continuity and sales growth.

3. Identify needs of customers and potential customers regarding printed materials. Educate himself/herself in all aspects of the customer’s business. Learn and understand the customer’s needs and listen for an opportunity to sell new services to a current or prospective customer.

4. Analyze customer specifications with respect to price list and guidelines to establish quotations. Complete quotes and job tickets for jobs and potential jobs and work closely with the Estimator, Scheduler and CSR’s.

5. Work closely with CSR’s while work is in production to accurately communicate with customer regarding change orders, author alterations and ensure that final job costing, billing and invoicing are communicated to and agreed upon by the customer prior to invoicing.

6. Coordinate with and lead all project related communications to client as well as internally with CSR’s and manufacturing departments.

7. Obtain complete customer job specifications and close sales based upon estimate and sell price guidelines.

8. Assist the customer in planning jobs by offering creative ideas on design, layout and binding. Leverage internal subject matter experts in helping the customer to solve problems.

9. Obtain accurate customer deadline dates and negotiate/communicate between production and customer when deadline dates need to be adjusted.

10. Assess customer plans regarding future print projects, future budgets and in house marketing plans to provide accurate sales forecasting.

11. Maintain customer and prospective customer information. Maintain accurate records regarding all jobs and customer contacts according to the Company’s records management policies.

12. Attend scheduled sales meetings, provide weekly activity reports and participate in training.

Preferred skills for this job

1. Prior print sales experience.
