Dinged up Ink keys problem...

My company has a Ryobi 3304ha, which is a fantastic machine mind you, but it has a few problems. The ink keys seemed to have gotten dinged up by, what I assume, metal ink knives improperly drawing ink out of the fountain.

With ink in the fountain the ball shows thin but heavy ink lines on what should be a flat even surface of ink.

Are there any remedies for this without having to replace the keys?

Thanks for any help :)

there are some product on the market from Loctite and Bisson , mainly used in the car industry. There is even a product so strong and good , that you can repair thread. You have to be VERY carefull, when repairing your ink keys.
