"Dumb Question" CS5 issue

I don't know what happened but recently when I open a document in InDesign CS5 the window opens under the control bar which is at the top of the window. I think it has something to do with the float tag for it instead of docking it at the top, but it won't let me change that. Any ideas??????

Hit the tab key to get rid of your menu, then pull the window down, finally hit the tab key to restore the menus.

I hate that! I wish Adobe would change that behavior.

I just click anywhere on the desktop, and that exposes the window, and then I can click on the window and drag it down.
