Duplicate and non embedded fonts in a PDF from Word

We have a client file which has some non embedded fonts, thats rare :), but the real issue is the same font name appears in the font list as embedded.

Is this a case of the client having two versions of the font on their computer.

We have tried replacing the non embedded font (Century Gothic) in Pitstop with the embedded version of the same font but it screws up the text

Any ideas or advice?

I would try
opening the font on a PC and printing to PDF
with high settings and embedding fonts ...
to begin with.

We have managed to fix it using pitstop 8, so all good, thanks for the feedback
