Offset Press Operator

Summary

• Sets up, adjusts, maintains and operates press
• Cleans, lubricates and makes minor adjustments to maintain quality of production
• Cost effectively oversee offset printing workflow
• Assists with other printing processes as needed
• Complies with company policies, procedures and core processes

Requirements

• Previous experience in the field, specifically working with presses
• Understanding the entire printing process from set-up to cleanup
• Must have a high level of mechanical aptitude
• Must have flexibility and be willing to work varying schedules and hours when needed
• Must be able to work overtime as required by workload and customer-driven deadlines
• Excellent work ethic, attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Must be able to continuously stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds or more
• Must be able to stoop, kneel and climb a ladder and stairs
• Must have excellent color vision and be able to detect color variations
