Evo and late page changes

Hiya,

Been working on evo for a few months now (after 4 years of using Prinergy Workshop) and I have one major gripe.

Last minute page changes.

In workshop it was a simple matter of re-refining the new page and replacing the old page via re-assigning.

In evo its a lot more complicated and leaves alot of holes for mistakes to sneak through ie. the new page never gets assigned. (grrr)

How do all you evo users deal with this late page replacements?

Do you start the whole job from beginning? Refine the new file and make its file name the same as old file (this is what we have been recommended by Kodak and is what we do..)? Tell the customer to supply it right the first time (if only!! lol)

thanks for any input

Mitch

We simply refine the updated file, replace the old Refined page and it updates automatically. Yeah, if it's only one page in say a 128 page book, only refine that page & replace it instead of the entire book.
