fiery loses communication with xerox 1000i

Has anyone else experienced this? The Fiery will lock up and need re-started. Once it re-starts the paper catalog will show up but the ink levels do not. In this state there is no communication between the Fiery and the 1000. Usually after a period of time the ink levels will show up and all is good for a while. We have experienced this a few times a week.

Craig, have not experienced this problem (same set up as you).

Currently we're under a 2 week battle with a tray module error code when coming out of sleep mode overnight. It seemed like every morning we would come in and wake the machine up. It would start up and then go into a fault saying our tray 3 module is open (which it isn't). I just keep restarting it and eventually something goes right and it comes on. Sometimes its the next start up, sometimes it takes 20 mins. They have replaced every switch possible, and have now moved onto power supply modules. Good luck, it seems like when something goes wrong with these machines it can get tricky.
