Flaring on a Heidelberg CX102

Does anyone know any tricks for Flaring on the 2cnd pass on a Sheetfed Heidelberg CX102 that has just the feeder tape and no wheels on the feeder board? On the older SM 102 you could tape a half inch bar on the feeder board under the tapes half way up the sheet and it would help greatly with with the black Flaring out on the tail on the 2cnd pass, if you are running KCMY. I know they have software for Flaring but we are a small company. At times I wish I was running a older press Heidelberg! lol

Are you trying to register fit 1st pass to 2nd pass same side or is 2nd pass backside not register fitting to itself?
If it's a 5/c, can you use 1st unit under impression to flatten out paper?
Is paper grain long?
Is paper flat or is it wavy edged (outer length is longer than center)?

2cnd pass the black is flaring out about a 16th or 2mm on the tail . It's a 6 color we have the 1st unit on impression. I think some of it is our pressroom isn't climate controlled. The longer the run the worse it seems. We are to lazy to wrap the skids and that would be a pain in the ass.
