Foil Stamping "Sheets sticking to platen"

OK, we are running some small 12" x 18" sheets on Kluge that has heavy ink coverage on the back side.

The sheets are run offset using Pertech 100 series inks on a 100# Gloss Text sheet.
There are 8 foil areas on the sheet that are .25" x 3.5" big.

When we foil stamp them the heat is traveling through the sheet and the sheet is sticking to the platen. We have tried wax, and a poly stencil sheet but they are still sticking. We placed Teflon tape (from our shrink-wrapper) behind it but it left a pattern in the sheet due to the pressure.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Try thin mylar over the phenolic, lower your temperature and speed up the press.
And let the ink dry if you have the time.
