Postscript fonts require all parts to work. You should have a screen part and a postscript part. Windows and Mac postscript fonts are different although they can be converted.

I don't remember if you needed two files for the Mac. At least the ones I have right now don't.
On the Mac we are currently using Linotype FontExplorer X which is also a free download.

thanks all, it looked like I was missing the screen fonts but hadn't noticed that exact name before and thought maybe it was a new third party font.
