If you would Like to run a current Harlequin RIP with your vx 9600 then you need at least Xitron's Fuji Rip kit with the USB2SCSI blue box Interface.

Xitron Navigator RIP (Harlequin) & device plug-in with the USB2SCSI blue box is the only alternative compatible RIP I know. The deciding element in this configuration is the USB2SCSI blue box interface. It was released by Xitron at the last DRUPA 2016. Before it came out, you would have to have the right Xitron SCSI pci interface card (32bit). There was no Windows 64 bit compatibility. Of course there are second-hand/preowned SCSI card interface solutions to be found at Ebay or somewhere else, I don´t know but for sure there is no open source solution (RIP) existing for your configuration.

i bought the CTP in an auction and last week i moved it to my city to start to test but the vacuum pump and server were stolen...
do you know the becker pump model? is it VT4.4? performance it´s about 30m3/hr?
before spent money in a blue box and the newest software, i would like to try with a LSI8751D scsi card mounted in a windows xp or 2003 server install, just to test the CTP and proof if works 100%... which celebrant version or another software should be better to test with LSI8751D?
i know scsi technology is very old, but i´ve look around and i discovered 9 of each 10 guys in México still using old scsi cards with violet ctp machines, after check if CTP it´s OK, i will buy blue box of course...

Hi blax,
sorry I can not give you any plate setter hardware components information (Becker pump). I am a software specialist.
You can use every Celebrant version up to Celebrant Suite v6. Definitely you can stay on old PC hardware, if it is still reliable and it is not connected permanently to the internet.

i have seen it´s white color when came with CTP,, but at becker´s catalogue only available in gray color, any difference of both?
