New Acuity Ultra—superwide UV roll-to-roll printer—makes its NA debut at the SGIA Expo 2018, in Las Vegas.
Available in 126” (3.2 m) & 197” (5 m) versions, these printers utilize Fujifilm’s new Uvijet GS inks, with a 3.5 pl drop size. These inks have achieved GREENGUARD Certification, from UL. GREENGUARD helps to create interior products that support healthy indoor environments through low VOC chemical emissions.
Acuity Ultras are equipped with a unique chilled vacuum table to print thin heat-sensitive substrates and an on-board backlighting feature to enable image quality to be checked during printing. The Acuity Ultras are targeted at the high-end indoor, luxury brand, display, exhibition graphics, point-of-purchase displays, high-value graphic art and indoor backlit displays.
