GCR% and Croma varying with hue

Just wondering if other software than Apogee Color has possibility to vary GCR% depending on the hue. The idea is that one can keep a high GCR on an image and a less extreem GCR in skintones. My question is does anyone have experience good or bad with this kind of advanced profiles? Have they been used for both separation and proofing?
I'll not say more for now, as I am still testing, but curious if somone has been down that road before me.

Alwan CMYK Optimizer Press - this is what we sell customers - this is especially useful in situations where you are getting files from many sources, with different separation approaches, and need to "normalize' the separations.

I'll second that Alwan recommendation. Gentle on the flesh, bold where it needed to be. We used the ECO model to get the Dynamic Black Generation.
