Lost power to my Gestetner 5499 duplicator yesterday, heard a small pop, tested the main power fuse and got nothing...After replacing the fuse the machine still will not power on!! Any advise as to what would be causing the problem..All fuses seem to be fine.
First thanks for your reply...Second where would the power supply be located?? And how would I test that it's bad..Probably need to replace the power supply. I don't usually see fuses blowing unless something further down the line is bad.
Looks like there is only one power supply and it is behind the rear cover on the right side. I would test by replacing it with a new one We pretty much do board level troubleshooting. If the machine won't turn on and a fuse was blown I would guess power supply.
