Heidelberg GTO 46 - BLOWER moving on its own

When I start up the press, the blower knob automatically moves from the "higher" position to "lower." If I move the knob back, it does the same thing. It doesn't appear to be being pushed down by anything, it just moves on its own. I'm forced to run the table at its lowest position which is a pain for some stocks. Any ideas of whats happening here?

I think there is a set of screws under the feeding table that hold the knob in place with some vertical bars
