Hi,
Can anyone assist with hercule elite imagesetter problem. it is has not been working for a while trying to repair it. Each time we put it on while loading, it will stop and said "the recorder does not march the software, i got another software, it keep saying the same thing....can anyone help out. Cheers

Check your floppy-drive first: just connect another one from any PC you have.
Floppy-drive can be contaminated (dust on and around write/read head).

Thank you for your response, appreciate. An engineer told me that the floppy drive are specially made for this machine the one with computer system will not work, i have order for one. As you have said i will try it and see if it will work. Many thank. Cheers

i ve check the battery it was alright and the driver was not faulty. An engineer advice to get a new motherboard cpu, software and floppy drive. Can anyone assist in getting this items. Thanks.

Where do you locate? You should call to local engineer!

Are you sure to need these parts? Even you can get exchange parts, you still have to replace and fix it. Can you do it without engineer? Let's me try to see if we can help you for these spare parts.

Thanks for your response. I am not the one operating the machine, I got an engineer who is working on it. Whatever he told me is what i post on printplanet. the engineer checked the mortherboard, floppy drive and confim that the faulty may be from the board. He adviced to get a new board with software. I will be glad if you can assist. Cheers. ADE
