We have a very slight issue with printing a 2 colour job that has a round solid in the middle and a dark solid along the left.

The Green is a solid 1 Color Pantone 347 C
The Black has 2 plates, 1 at 100% and 1 at 50% as a helper .

Paper is 130lb Silk Cover

We reduced this issue by adding an additive to the ink called Total Release Compound.

Below are images showing the results we are seeing.

Has anyone experienced something like this? This seems like a common problem when we print solids like this.

Any suggestions to look resolve this problem would be appreciated.

Thank you

Few things you can try....
Change the lateral ink distributor timing, It will be a Trial and error process but you will find a sweet spot.
Or you can tilt the image on plate to reduce the ghosting but your postpress will hate it.

Goog Luck!
