How I can replace agfa lithostar lp82 with normal PC?

Hi everyone,

Someone offered me a agfa lithostar lp82 without rip. how I can replace the missing rip with normal PC.

This is the first ctp machine for me, so I don't know how to connect the machine with the PC.

Is it like any printer (USB cable with driver software)?

Please help me.

agfa lithostar lp82 is a plate processor only

RIP Interface:
The interface to the RIP is a standard SCSI interface, built into the engine. The SCSI cable must be
ordered separately from the engine. Only the 10 ft. SCSI cable can be used with the standard SCSI
interface. If the 65 ft. cable is required, the optional differential SCSI interface must also be ordered
for the engine. One of the two SCSI Interface cards listed below will be required for the RIP platform.
Standard: SCSI-2, Wide-16 bits, single ended
Cable Length – 10 ft. (3M)
Recommended Interface Card: QLogic, model # QLA1040
Optional: SCSI-2, Wide-16 bits, differential
Cable Length – Up to 65 ft. (20M)
