How to Lubricate Gear Wheels

can any body tell me what is the best way to look after
the gear wheels of a sheetfed offset machines.....

i mean small machines like Ryobi, Gestetner , Hamada....etc,..

only with lubricating oil or only with Grease..............or mixture of both.

Hello Dede, cylinder gears that do not run in "Oil Baths" must also be lubricated with the correct grade of "Grease" recommended.
