HP Indigo Alternatives - Ideally something that is not dry-toner based

You could maybe experiment with a Kyocera 15000c. Does NOT have white. Must print on uncoated or treated paper. About $200k. NOT YET RELEASED is the Kyocera 55000c, which uses infrared technology for "instant" ink curing. Price unknown.
That's in the same range as a used indigo, but it looks cool.

I guess sometimes you just have to open your wallet to get the right tool.

Look for the 15000c to start showing up on the used market. It was first on the market in 2019. You will also find it branded as the MCS Merlin K146. When the 55000c hits the street, I think there will be many upgrading and that will push more 15000c into the used market.
