Humidity Control System

We're in the Midwest, and the humidity can certainly drop down substantially when the snow starts flying. Does anyone know of a cheap solution to keep humidity levels relatively sane? I'm looking for something ideally in the $500 - $1000, nothing top of the line.

I am liquidating a Hospital in-plant print shop in the Midwest. I have newer model humidification system available in that price range. It is a VaporStream VLC 12-2 made by DriSteem. If you are interested, I can send you photos and more details.
