Hyphen ImpoProof documentation

Hello,
We recently inherited a working ImpoProof system using the Canon 4100 printers. The Canon set up to print the back side of the proof will not load the paper for us; we keep getting loading errors. Hyphen has modified that printer for the two-sided proof, so the normal loading process doesn't apply here (as far as I can tell).

Does anyone have documentation from Hyphen for the ImpoProof? Hopefully, there are paper-loading directions in the documentation.

Thanks in advance.

Top Printer needs to be OFF! Click load button on PC and let bottom printer run 3 sheets on floor. Manually load leading edge into top printer STRAIGHT!

Push machines together, In the loop between machines lay an old paper core or pic pipe for weight.

Turn top printer on, during start up it will advance paper back & forth then stop.

Advance paper in top printer to printed line from 1st printer to stop right before Camera.

Should take off once camera recognizes printed square used for registration.

I was an installer on these, I'm sure there be many more questions.

Key is Top PRINTER must be off till machine is treaded.

Good luck.

Thank you for helping out. I would have never guessed to keep the printer off.
We got the paper to load, but the LED lights around the camera don't seem to be working. I put a light on under the camera area, and it could see the square. It printed the other side of the test form for us.

You are correct in saying I may have more questions, but I would like not to bother you. Is there a reference manual for the software?

Thanks again. I appreciate your help.

unfortunately there is no documentation. After installation, we train users. Where are you located? There are only couple of us installers.

Camera is powered by a USB attached to back of PC. USB will have a button on it that controls brightness on camera. Visually set it to brightest setting.

When camera detects square, it will advance paper and start printing. If you watch PC, it will flash a picture and either continue or fail if it doesn't detect square.

The support line is 1-800-482-7072, it may still be covered. These are great work horses with a great company behind them.

We are located in northern New Jersey.

The LEDs for the camera were not working, so I bought a new camera and installed it, and now that is working.

The top printer output one of the test impo's. Looking at the alignment lines, the registration of the top printer is off a bit. I can see where to put in the offset numbers, but once I do that, I'm unsure what to do next.

I called and left a message with support. Once they call me back, I hope to get some more direction on the next steps to getting this system set up.

Thanks again for your help!

numbers on grid represent mm. add vertical and horizontal numbers from grid and close adjustment window. Print one more flush to see if register is better.

Only top printer adjusts, so next sheet out will reflect change. Once acceptable, start running jobs. Camera will maintain register

Minor adjustments maybe needed every time a new roll is loaded. Run 3 sheets on new roll to be sure webbing has settled down before making adjustments.
