Re: i need choise a CTP machine

I would take a look at the CTP devices from Screen, I feel they make some of the best hardware around.
Our screen imagesetter ran for years and years without a problem and our 2 Screen CTP devices have done the same.

Re: i need choise a CTP machine

why you dont want any creo equipment any more they are good equipments,
but if you are decided to change i would also take screen as i option.

Re: i need choise a CTP machine

because the local vendor is a "**==//!!!" head........
and kodak/creo have a propietari method....
i want have a standard format for work..

Re: i need choise a CTP machine

Get a Screen as Cory said. I bought Fuji Javelin (Screen 8600) 3 years ago and I am very happy with it.

Re: i need choise a CTP machine

If you are driving your creo ctf with a creo rip you could use it as front end to your creo ctp device and just use it as a tiff catcher to save money.

I think you said that you currently use artpro/nexus so all your screening could be done in nexus avoiding "propriatary" formats.

Re: i need choise a CTP machine

i think if i need use a 120x160 format......
many pack is big..
i need a 0,40 plate.... better 0,50mm
only creo/kodak have this machine.....
at this time a not have artpro/nexus rip..
its a idea for future.....
i'm secure take artpor....
for nexus when found a ctp will think for nexus...
its a many idea...

thanks to all for your help
