Hi

Pls find attached image which has very fine thin lines with vignette effect filled with strokes.. (Illustrator File)

When we output this file for plate @ 175 / 200 / 150 lpi screen ruling this image got broken / pixelleted / not smooth / not sharp as per the image...

When we output the same with other service company the image looks sharper and fine no break at all exactly comes as per the file..

We used kodak plates with lotem 48 diode... Other service company has Heidelberg ...

Is the problem related to file or plate ???

Hope If its the file problem then the other service company will also face the same problem ??

Need anyone advice to sort out this issue..

regards
Kala

Kala,
Are your plates positive working or negative working?
I would look into the age and strength of your chemistry and then to the CTP device and the exposure to the plate. Sometimes a simple cleaning of the optics or change of exposure is all that is required.

Positive Plate..

Chemistry fresh chemistry ; Same results appear on my 2 Lotems..

OK, going for the obvious because the description of the problem is unclear.
This appears to be a 3C screen build.
1 - Is the press work in all cases in register? If not then that might be the problem.
2 - Is the coarse halftone screen breaking up the image? I.e. can you see the halftone dots under a loupe?
3 - Is one of the "service" companies using an FM screen which would look smoother than 175 / 200 / 150 lpi screen rulings.

Go here: The Print Guide: Halftone screen angles and scroll down halfway to: "Other screen angle considerations" Does that look like your problem?
