Imagewear in Single wdith Press - Left Side

We are having a Manugraph Single width Press. We face a strange problem of Image wear in Black Plates after 70,000 impressions.
This Image wear happens only in Left Side of the Tower ( Where we have the Page 1 & Back Page ) where as in the same tower the right side is ok and goes on upto 1.5 lakhs without image wear.
Also when we pring screen of 60% or above when the speed is more than 33000 ( rated speed is 45,000 and we run at 41,000 ) we can see roller streaks or roller bands.

Can anyone help usin solving this mystry.

Hello Faisal, the symptom you describe indicate the - Plate/Blanket Cyl. pressures need resetting

Two Visual Checks: 1) Plate Inkers roller settings: Roller Stripes on Plate, are they even and correct width? Also check Dampener Rollers settings.

Next:

2) Roll-up Plate and Blanket Cyls. solid, NO Damp. 2a) put unit on Impression by X time, then visually check the NIPS stripe,
which should be approx. 4 - 5 mm wide and EVEN across.

PS - On Printing Presses you describe each side of the press as Gear Side or Workside not Left or Right

Dont forget to give your ink and dampening formes a durometer check to make sure they haven't got hard and glazed on the one side

We checked the Ink and Damp forme roller settings and everyting is OK.
The Impression setting we will check for the same.

As mentionded above the problem is not with the Gear or work side. What i meant was with the Couples. For Eg: Printing Couple 1,3,5,7 ( 1 Cyan, 3 Magenta, 5 Yellow, 7 Black ) where we print page 1 and page 2 is in Priting COuple 2,4,6,8 ( Same sequence ). from this we have image wear and the roller streak issue only on Couple 7 and with all the towers. In the same tower The Gear side and workside i shaveing the problem.
The machine what we have is Mangraph Hiline machine.
Is there any other possibility of these problems because with the same Newprint, roller make, blanlet make, ink and fountain the Right side ( ie Copule 2,4,6,8 ) is working absolutely fine and gives us almost 2 lakhs Imressiona nd that too without imagewear and roller streaks,
