Greetings Print Planet,
My company uses Indigo 7600 presses that are preceded by 2 Digital Front End servers. Hewlitt Packard wants to update the software on the presses and the two DFE's (IN100 and IN400)
The software is SW v8.6.3 and Print Care v2.6.3
and it is currently nearing the end of its beta phase.
While the improvements of the update look appealing, my company is uncertain about doing this at present. Have any of you applied these same updates to your hardware?
If yes, has it gone smoothly? Has it displayed stability under load? Can you offer an opinion about the update?
