International price comparison Xerox DC 700

In Mauritius I'm being quoted US $ 86,000 (66,000 euros) for the Xerox 700 Digital Color Press with EX Print Server Powered by Fiery (bundled).

Before accepting the above price I am interested to know what you would pay for the same product in your country?

That's not a bad price. What type of Finisher is included? What are feeders?

The price is for the basic machine only. All finishers are extra as follows. RIP is included.

Goodlands, 66K € or 86K$ is not bad, for that price you should ask for Finsher or external DFE, personally i would go for Light Prod Finisher, its fab for loads of apps and will give you some sweet finishing. get the price to $79K as is and i think you are doing well

Yes at that price they should be giving you some sort of finisher and some high-cap drawers. So in short $86k is not bad, but so a little over. As for them to through in the Light Production finisher.

light production finisher is not suitable for heavyweight coated jobs that have dense color coverage. The rubber wheels leave a mark in the glossy color finish.
The only serious option is the high capacity stacker.
The price seems a bit high to me, for the one you should get at least external rip, which in my opinion is a must.

Price is for external Fiery rip and there is no per print charge. Xerox also offers no repayment till February 2010.

That's seems like a pretty good price, especially with the dolly/high cap stacker (usually an expensive option, I think it's around 20K euros normally?). We were offered an X700 from a dealer the other day very cheaply. Anyone know why the selling price for 700s in Europe seems to have suddenly dropped? I'm just being nosy

My xerox reseller in France propose :
DC700 + 2 High capacity feeder + light prod finisher (but without Z folder) + FreeFlowPrint Serveur RIP.
Total coast : 103 250 € (152 000 USD) including financial coast (4 years)

This price seems to be very expensive..
I Paid my DC250 45.000 € 4 years ago (complete including Fiery RIP and pro finisher)

Please let me know what you thiink about !
