Decision makers and capital spenders galore
Some 260,000 visitors from 188 countries and 1,900 journalists from 74 countries travelled to Düsseldorf, and approximately 75% of all visitors were decision-making executives.

According to the visitors’ survey, drupa 2016 was an excellent B2B venue for making business decisions, as shown by the results:
• 54% came there with concrete investment intentions,
• 29% placed orders during drupa,
• 30% are planning to place orders after drupa,
• 60% found new suppliers there.

Re-positioning drupa on future themes with strong growth potential–3D printing, functional printing and packaging printing–proved to be a real asset. Whether it was publication, commercial, packaging or industrial printing, drupa showed off technology that offered matching solutions for all these applications.

Color Optimized?

by Noel Ward, Editor@Large
Color is in demand in all types of documents, making color management a critical part of Digital Printing 5.0. Properly implemented color management workflows can help achieve consistent color results across multiple devices. Although many end-customers are claiming satisfaction with “pleasing color,” two challenges are still in play. Link to Article
