Some one telling me, that Kodak 800 Platesetter 8up, Can't do 4up plating?

Is that true?

Hi Shadab -

The Magnus 800 can do 4-page plates too. It can even do 2-page plates. Here are the minimum/maximum plate sizes:

Maximum plate size:
around drum x along drum
950 x 1,162 mm (37.4 x 45.7 in)

Minimum plate size:
around drum x along drum 330 x 305 mm (13 x 12 in)


There may be some additional limitations if you're using an autoloader, but it can still auto-load 4-page plates.

(33 x 44 in)


Minimum plate size:around drum x along drum

267 x 215 mm
(10.5 x 8.5 in) 383 x 270 mm
(15.1 x 10.6 in)

Manual unload:
267 x 215 mm
(10.5 x 8.5 in) 383 x 270 mm
(15.1 x 10.6 in)

Manual load and unload:
305 x 215 mm
(12 x 8.5 in)
