Looking into new CTP solutions - any advice?

Hello,
We are a small quick printer and are looking into new CTP solutions.
I have looked at Heidelberg, Presstek and am contacting Screen.
Price is of course a concern and I am sort of hoping to stay in a metal plate.
We run a Prosetter right now, and I have a buyer interested in that system pushing the issue for us to find a replacement.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I echo Tecmail's advice - Printware folks are awesome. We have their platesetter 46 silvermaster machine, and you can run 8 mil plates and with care virtually rival a lot of metal plate printing at a very low cost. And the tech reps in Minnesota are always very knowledgeable and helpful.

We just went from old school to Gluntz and Jensen plate writer 2500, metal plates.. great machine, smooth install, no surprises, second day we were outputting plates. When I say old school, I mean light table and negs.
