I just bought a RISO HC5500 to use as an envelope printer.

Looking to buy some ink.

Where is the best source to buy? Any dealers on here?

Is there a "generic" alternative?

Any users have feedback on using a "generic" with their machines?

I purchase mine from RISO.
Not aware of any third party oil based inks out there.

I am seeing crazy prices like $360 to $420 a bottle

A little high but you get lots of prints per bottle.
I figure I am paying around .015 for a full color envelope and .06 for a 11x17

now we are plan to sell retail riso refill original inks from japan for very cheap with guaranteed most refill inks are chinese so cant print on glossy papers
but ours are original from japan
