Mako 4 4 up

Does anyone out there have a Mako 4 4 up CTP? We are looking at investing in this model, please tell me your experience and is this a good CTP. We are a small plant and use about 60-80 large plates per month.

ECRM Mako 4 very reliable

ECRM Mako 4 very reliable

We have been using a Mako 4 from ECRM for 5 years. Does what is supposed to with no trouble. It is arguably the most reliable component of our whole CTP operation. ECRM did the initial setup (some software settings in the CTP server, exposure sweep, etc) but we have done minor tweaks over the years. We use it with a transport belt that moves the plates into the processor (make sure it is properly aligned with the processor or the plates can jam before they even get into wash). We do considerably more than 80 plates per month.

Have been using for 3 years now. Reliable machine and easy to operate. We do about 2000 plates/month. Very nice machine. I hope they start to sell processless violet plates soon.
