Hmmm Looks like an orange with its navel. Are you a navel observer?

You were lucky it was a Sony day. Good thing is was not a Wratten orange.

Nice shot.

Well I just watched the navel battle movie "Sink the Bismark" ... But I also have been chin wagging on another forum about Buddhism - so that's a bit of navel gazing.
It's just amazing what one can do with basic amateur photo equipment. Today was overcast until the very last moment - then the Sun came out.
Amazing.

It's been rainy with heavy clouds for most of the past week. It's good to know some folks saw this. I would think the next time this happens, there will be major improvements in camera technology:).

It will never happen again. Haven't you been reading about the Mayans and their prediction for the end of the world? LOL. Does anyone else find it curious that the end of the world will be in December, hence no need for a New Years Eve party AND the fact that Dick Clark died this year so his services won't be needed? Coincidence?................

I have a number of responses to the above, a few using that other planet with the awkward name, but maybe that's best left unsaid. ;)

Puts things into perspective, if you think that the picture could also be a earth transit as seen from mars.
