Just a reminder for those of you that do mailings starting monday all mailings that do not have stamps or that are metered must have a National Change of Address done on them. We are seeing costs of anywhere between 50 to 200 dollars to have this done even on small mailings. If the list you are using is not valid you could see a nine cent per piece penalty if the post office catches it.

Move Update Requirements which NCOA also meets, is required for any USPS discount. If you are mailing as Standard, Non-Profit or getting a discount on First-Class Mail, you are required to meet Move Update with 95 days prior to the mailing.

If you do a lot of mailings then it would be worth getting an unlimited NCOA for a Year. If you do as few as 20 mailings it would be worth it. If you goto a mailing company, most of the mailers are offering this for free because they are getting the unlimited NCOA for a year.
