no image on paper

I'm new to this forum...but I need help.
I have an older ab dick 360 offset press and it seems like everything fell apart the other day. First the plate wouldn't put the image on the blanket and I found out that was because of a broken spring on one of the levers on the operator's side. However, the blanket will not put any image on the paper now. I have fiddled and messed around with this press and cannot figure out what is wrong. I suspect it might have something to do with the impression cylinder underneath...but I am still a bad novice at this and would appreciate any help anyone could offer. I know that not putting the image on the paper could be a number of things...but I am willing to try them all. Having a hard time getting anyone to help. Thanks again for any help anybody can provide.

sounds simply like its not coming onto impression... do AB Dick's have an impression light or do they go onto impression automatically?? Perhaps cleaning the sensor may help?? sorry but i cant be of much help...f**k all experience on them not too many of them in Australia!

There are plenty of ppl who know them on here one will get back to you soon with any luck :)

Look down where the paper first goes into the press. You should see three thin fingers. One in the center and one on the left and right side. If those fingers do not go down the press will go on impression. I dont know if this is the problem but you can start there. Wedge some tape or somethng under one of these fingers and if it goes on impression you should see the back cylinder get dirty.

Under the flywheel there is an impression control that is changed by using an allen wrench. I believe the numbers are 1 through 11 where I believe 11 is max impression.

Thanks alot,
I appreciate the advice....Someone else has told me it might have something to do with the fingers where the paper goes in....just not really sure how to fix it. I will try the tape and see if that is the problem. Thanks alot
