No Power to Control Panel - Please help!

Our AGFA 30 OLP processor has power, but the control panel is not communicating to the imagesetter when we press the "On" button on the control panel - Nothing Happens. Has anyone had this problem? If yes, what did you do to fix it? Need help ASAP - we are down!!

Is there an on-line site that has the manual for this machine?

Ok, we have replaced the board, replaced the control panel, check the cable, and it still won't boot up. The Control Panel goes through its initial startup, but then just a blank LCD. I'm so frustrated. I don't understand the boot chip thing. Can someone please give more information on that?

Yes, the control panel runs through some messages at first. It's fast, so I don't know what it is, then goes blank.

Don't get a been on the "On" button or the one next to the "On" which is the manual button,

There is a beep on:
Picture with winch
Thermostate
Light bulb
Note

No beep on the rest of them.
 
We have a problem with our Avantra 44S speed setter. There is an initial display once we turn on the machine but after that a blank screen appears. we tried pressing the on/off switch but nothing happens. same with the other keys (no beeps as well). Is it a control panel problem, flex, etc....
 
The initial message displays:

GI ATB V03 LUTH
GT 30A51 V01R04
120197 9707 0000

What does this messages means?

I saw your post from the other thread regarding the initial display messages.
So does that mean that my machine is ok, since it passed internal self-test?
So, my next step is to have my boot-up process debug.

This is very strange to have this happening to others at the same time.

Our machine is still down.
We have a new CPU and our CPU, we have 3 keypad terminals, one new, one used and our old one. We have installed those componets in every configuration possible, i.e., new pad new board, new pad, old board, etc. We talked with a parts supplier and he gave us pemission to remove the actual keypad from his used terminal and put it on our terminal and it did not work. We put our keypad on his terminal and we got LUCKY and it came up once. We had a jam and had to restart the machine and NO Luck, it didn't come up again and we have been working on it every since.

Would sure like some help!!! This is just so strange.
