Nobelus—print & packaging films—adds to their line of smudge-resistant thermal films with the launch of SmudgeProof Laminate with DigiBOND adhesive. According to the company, “The film’s high surface energy makes an excellent platform for post-print embellishments such as spot UV, foil stamping and Scodix artwork”.
This is a clear OPP film—guarding against scuff marks, smudges & fingerprints—allowing prints, packaging & book covers to feature tactility without showing wear. The 1.2 mil protective laminate is made to perform in digital applications that require added handling, while retaining a petal-soft feel. The DigiBOND adhesive—used on the SmudgeProof base film—is made for use on digital toner presses from Xerox, Kodak, Konica Minolta and Ricoh.
