Nutritional Label FDA 2016 format question

We are a packaging converter with clients who need to update their nutritional panels to follow the 2016 FDA format.
Searching the FDA site I can only find the panel artwork in a "portrait" format. We have many packages where the previous label was done as a "landscape" format to better fit on the package.
I am wondering if anyone knows if it is permissible to re-work the 2016 panel into a landscape version?
