Offline Booklet Maker

We've outgrown and therefore are looking to replace our Standard Nagel Foldnak M2 offline booklet maker.

We need something that can handle up to 25 pages and will fold/staple–scoring and/or face trimming are not necessary, but would be a plus. Example of things we've made in the past that our current booklet maker could barely handle:

- 3.75x8.5" 21 sheet booklet saddle-stitched (our booklet maker would staple and crease, but couldn't fold it, so we'd use a Plockmatic square fold to finish it off)

- 4x4" 3 sheet booklet saddle-stitched along the top (current booklet maker can not bookletize something this small).

Space and cost are our limiting factors (until we grow enough to warrant it), so a giant $20,000 system isn't going to work. Something like this would be ideal:

The model pictured is the BM61 by Plockmatic. That particular unit can only be used with a collator feeding it (no hand-feeding). If you are hand-feeding it, you need the BM60.

Be sure to test your product extremes on the machine prior to purchasing. The thicker books may not be crisp enough for your customers.
