One of my Dosers has gone out and had to be sent off to be rebuilt, Anyways, I am having to mix the solution by hand, I am currently mixing 2.5 oz per gallon of Prisco 3451U and 2.5 oz per gallon of Alkaless 3000, My Question is, how do I know weather or not I need to add more 3451 or more Alkaless 3000? It seems like my water speeds are a little higher than before, Just really wanting to know, How do you tell if you need to add more or less Concentrate or Sub?

I would not recommend using any more then 1.5 ounces per gallon of the Alkaless 3000. From my experience the shops that I have worked with have the best results using 3-4 ounces per gallon of the 3451 U and 1-1.5 ounces of Alkaless 3000.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Bob, cut back on the Alkaless Sub, we run the exact same fountain solution and run half the sub to concentrate. Get the mixture where you like it and print results look good then measure conductivity and thats your reference. my 0.02 pence worth

Colour Variation
Washed out print
Increased chemical costs (sub aint cheap)
increased waste at stops and start ups
Increased makeready waste.
