Hello All, I am semi-new to running a DPX2 platemaker. A recurring problem I have is that the in-house designers are sending PDF's that are supposed to be 2-color and end up outputting as 4-color process with color. I know I can't change them without the original file. I am asking what is the best way to help them recognize the problem on their end before they send to me, ie.. (pitstop). I have been a pressman my whole career and am not familiar with these programs and the best suitable program for our situation at a in-plant shop. The designers use InDesign but, they snag artwork from older pieces which has the cmyk embedded in the file. Any advice on fix it programs or check off programs would be appreciated. They don't understand that a copier combinds all images and the platemaker seperates all images. Thanks in advance, Andy
