Last night, our nightshift received a pdf file from a client. Preflight found nothing wrong with the file, it was really nothing but text. Fonts were embedded and there were no images. When putting this file through Rip_Direct profile, there is some overlapping text at the end of a few lines. Like the kerning on the last word of a few sentences is just...off and the letters start to overlap.
