We have a line on a used Kodak Magnus 400 that we are considering purchasing. A few competing vendors have warned us that Kodak is discontinuing that line and will no longer service or provide parts for these platesetters.
Can anybody out there verify that:
1. Kodak will no longer manufacture parts for the Magnus 400's
2. There are NO independent manufacturers of Magnus parts.
Also, if anybody knows of a reputable independent service technician on the greater Los Angeles area that works on these machine I would love to get their contact info.
