Is anyone aware of a product that can do the following for me:
I have a 20 x 14 PDF
I want to end up with a 17 x 11
I do not want to crop. I am fully aware of how to crop in Pitstop and or Acrobat Professional. I simply want an XX reduction of my PDF
Say, from 100 x 100 percent to 80 x 80 percent.
I can easily do this with an Indesign script. (Create 17 x 11. Import PDF. Put in picture box 17 x 11. Make picture fix frame)
However, in my opinion, I am most likely redistilling the PDF to do this?
The entire point of the exercise is that my new proofer (don't ask...it's beta and skunkworks) only accepts 17 x 11
So, to truly show a proof of exactly what will happen on my digital web press, I need to make sure that I am not re-distilling.
Any ideas? 3rd part is perfect fine as long as it gets me where I need to go.
