PIA’s iLearning Center has launched a new Augmented Reality and Interactive Print course. The course introduces printers to principles of augmented reality (AR) and explores the integration of multimedia content with print projects.

Using AR, printers can push the boundaries beyond the page to introduce new revenue streams to their business and produce interactive, engaging experiences for their customers. Highlights of the course include:
  • What augmented reality is and how it works,
  • How to integrate AR with print,
  • Keys to creating an engaging AR experience,
  • How to create a simple AR application,
  • Why marketers like AR and how to sell it.
The course is free for PIA members.

Interesting that the PIA didn’t use augmented reality on the web page that promotes the course.
