PIA has confirmed that its board of directors has unanimously passed a resolution to merge with SGIA on November 17, 2019. The merger would not take effect until May 1, 2020 and requires approval from both PIA members & the SGIA Board of Directors. PIA has issued proxy ballots to its eligible voting members in which they have the opportunity to approve or disapprove the proposed resolution.
