Pitstop 12 redefine page size

What I need to do is redefine the trim, bleed, media box based on the die line in the file. I was hoping to create a script that would find every item with a line color of die, get the boundaries to set the sizes I need. Is this doable in Pitstop 12? If so, any direction to how. I really know nothing about Pitstop scripting and need a place to start.

Thanks
Paul

I sent a sample file to Andrew this weekend, and he took care of the issue for me. Seems with the power of Pitstop a simple three line script was all I needed.
So the first problem has been solved, now I still need to learn this Pitstop scripting. Anyone know of books for such. I know that Enfocus has an excellent online resource, but I still prefer learning from books.

Thanks Andrew for the quick solution. Now if only I could get all my vendors to act so quickly.

Books are obsolete before you get a chance to even open them.

Use the online resources. Experiment. You can learn a lot just by failing. you are not wasting anything but lines of code and pixels.

Everything can't be scripted, but much can.

Will these training sessions be open invite? I'm interested in learning more about 12 please.
