Plastic stock suggestion?

hello! Looking for a plastic like stock, up to 13x19, similar in thickness to 12-16pt cars stock, digital toner printable, with a bright white point and some nice gloss. Any suggestions much appreciated! Thank you

We use Synaps XM...it comes in weights ranging from 5mil to 14mil. It's a synthetic polyester paper. We switched to this instead of lamination and our customers love it. We tend to round corner most pieces to save people from scratching themselves as the material is very strong and sharp when cut down.

We've also been using it for about 5 yrs. now - mostly for small outdoor signs, some menu applications (watch this as in really high traffic restaurants they do get scratched and the toner will degrade in appearance), some business card applications (think watersports) we do a reasonable amount on this stock considering the price point. We price it at a premium - single sheet of 12x18 full colour printed goes out at $8.00 (CDN) and we don't discount much on volumes - not many orders over about 50 of any one item. Does not duplex in our Ricoh Pro7100 and with cost of the stock you don't want any jams (wasted sheets) so we print one side then the 2nd if needed. Lots of static buildup when printing multiple sheets.

We have an old Konica Minolta C8000 and it duplexes just fine. We mostly run the 10 point. I don't think we could successfully print a duplex job in two separate passes because it gets an incredible amount of static as you mentioned. It's quite difficult to jog for cutting afterwards. We will be upgrading to a Konica Minolta C6085 soon, which has an in-line static reducer. Hopefully that will make the sheets easier to jog.

We use Mohawk Synthetic Performance Polyester in both 8mil and 14mil. The 14mil is good for menus and business cards but as BobRym said, the toner will definitely scratch off if not treated with either a UV coat or a laminate. We run it through our Xerox 800 and Versant 2100 with no issues.
