Plate Count?

We have a Kodak/Creo Magnus VLF that is about 7 years old. Does anyone know how to get a cycle count from the device to find out how many total plates have been run through the machine?

Is there a generally accepted consensus on how long (in calendar terms or in cycle count) this machine will remain reliable? Like most shops, we can't afford on site redundancy for this equipment, and I would much rather buy a replacement earlier rather than when circumstances force it.

Thanks for any and all feedback!

These are very robust platesetters but you can never tell when you will get a problem with the electronics; mechanics or the Thermal Head. To get the plate count you need to go into Service Shell.
