We are trying to use new positive Thermal plate in our Screen Platerite HD 8900Z, but because of insufficient laser power its not washing the non image area. So can you please explain how we can do this.

what is the mean is not washing non image area.what is your rip?
for power of laser you have to increase light parameter.
what is your resulotion?(2400or 2540,....)
for every resulotion we have speciall light
do you have this problem with another resulotion please test it
regards

If you are using positive plates you are actually exposing the non image area to leave the plate and not exposing the image to stay on the plate. Try slowing down your drum speed by a minimum of 10% and see if that helps with your background image. Raising drum speed = lower laser power and vice versa.

Good luck
